My Home Theatre Pics
I just bought new mains 3 weeks ago, Paradigm Monitor 7 v2's. These are great speakers; they have a surprising amount of bass and clear crisp highs (although the tweeter is quite, bright it warms up after the break-in period). Compared to my old mains, these blow them away! I decided to go with the Monitor 7 v2s instead of the Monitor 5 v2s because the Monitor 5s are bookshelf speakers and I didn't have the time to make stands so I would have had to buy them. Stands are very expensive for a good pair, so I thought why not go with the 7s because then I won't have to buy stands. The extra money I would have spent on stands whent to buying the Monitor 7s. They have a lot more bass with the larger cabinet.
This is the view from the rear right of the room. You can see a view of the mains with the grilles on.
This is the right surround speaker. I will be replacing these with Paradigm Mini Monitors very soon.
This is the center channel. This speaker doesn't do very well recreating voice, so it will be the first to go. I will be replacing this with the Paradigm CC-370 before the summer.
This is my TV, I'm not planning on replacing it soon because I don't have the money to buy a good one. When I do get one, though, it will be a good one.
I thought that I would post this picture of my posters. Does anyone know where I can get some cheap frames, like the ones they have at the theatres?.
This is a screen shot from The Matrix DVD. I know its not very good, but I posted it anyway.
